SAY 8!

Last night, Tommy and I went on our third date since we had Addie. Our Christmas present to eachother were tickets to Brian Regan. We have been excited for months about this show and last night was finally the night. He was just as funny as the first time we saw him at Kingsbury Hall 2 years a ago. Surprisingly, a lot of his jokes were new. He joked about the economy, taxes, global warming; all the issues that are so heated and need to be lightened up on. He also threw in a lot of his classic stuff that I have heard many a time before. I can honestly say I have never laughed so hard in my entire life. Even when he messed up a joke he turned it into another joke. It was an awesome night! He even came out and did an encore. This is where my favorite part comes in! He told the story of when he took himself to the ER and it was hysterical! The end of the joke is him leaving the ER yelling: "Say 8! Say 8! Have you had your 8 today?" So all of you who have not heard Brian Regan need to look him up on YouTube and listen to him. He is the funniest and one of the cleanest comedians I have ever heard. Tommy and I had a wonderful time and I even convinced my party pooper husband to take out for ice cream afterwards.

Queen Of The Slide

We gave Addie a slide for Christmas and she absolutely loves it. Everday we have to catch her at the bottom about a million times before she is content. At first she had a hard time climbing to the top because the steps are more like rock climbing foot holds but she eventually got it. I didn't know she was even brave enough to climb up and slide down by herself until one day I was unloading the dishwasher and I turned to put something away. Through the doorway of the kitchen Icould see these little hands and feet flying in the air and she landed on all fours. It was the cutest and funniest thing I had ever seen. Addie is so much fun! I love to play with her and watch her discover new things everyday!
