Crafty!

Lately, I have been in a creative crafty mood. Last week I was blog hopping and I happened upon a children's boutique that had some really cute dresses. The dresses were $25-$30! I thought to myself when I saw them that I could totally make one for Addie myself. And so I talked to my hubby about it and the next day I bought fabric and made the dress while Addie was down for her nap! I am not saying I am the best seamstress in the world, but I think it turned out pretty darn cute especially since I didn't use a pattern. I also made myself a skirt out of the same flower fabric (I know it is cheesy and matchy matchy but I guess that is what kind of mom I am). So I hope maybe this helps some of you want to get crafty as well. Oh and if any of you mommies want me to make one for your little princess let me know I would give you a good deal.

Once More For Old Times Sake

So, last friday Tommy got to put the Big Blue suit one more time. The reigning Big Blue was out of town at the WAC Tournament and so Linda Zimmerman (the cheer coach) asked Tommy if he would like to be Big Blue at a gymnastics meet. Addie and I went to cheer on our cute man and enjoy USU crush the BYU gymnastics team. Everytime I have ever watched Tommy be Big Blue I get all teary eyed. I know that seems completely lame but I am so proud of him and he gets so excited to put that costume on and make people happy. He did so good! He even did a little dance to "Move It, Move It" from Madagascar. At the end of the meet when he changed clothes he was so sweaty and said that he is getting fat and old. Tommy is not fat nor old but I know how hard it would be to be in that suit when you haven't done it in almost a year. Anyway I am just so happy he got the opportunity it do it one more time. And by the way good job Aggies at the WAC, and good luck tomorrow night up in Boise!

Piggy Tails and Curly Q's

Can you believe it? Addie finally has enough hair to do something with it. One of my biggest fears of having a girl has always been doing her hair. But so far I haven't had to really worry about it since Addie has had such short hair. Now that she is getting more hair it is fun to experiment with different styles and it is easier than I thought to do cute things with her hair. Here are some pictures of my cute curly q baby and some of her in piggy tails!

P.S. I cannot believe I have a child with naturally curly hair. Thank you Tommy for passing on those genes to her because they definetely don't come from me! And do you guys see the hint of red in her hair?! That comes from her daddy too.

Spaghetti Gone Wild

The other night we had a spaghetti dinner at my brother's house. Addie of course was the life of the party. At first she was a good girl while she ate her spaghetti but then she started throwing it every where. And of course my family egged her on by laughing at her. By the time we got done with dinner and all cleaned up she was naked (she still had her diaper on) and running all over the house!

My cute family posing with all the delicious food!

Addie laughing because everyone else was laughing at her.

Addie clapping because everyone else was cheering her on.

At Least She's Comfortable

This is not the first time this has happened and I don't think this will be the last. Last night I went to check on Addie before I went to bed. This is what I saw when I walked in...

I don't know why but she really likes to have her feet hanging out or resting on top of the bunper pad whenever she sleeps.

I don't know how it can be comfortable to sleep squished all the way up in the corner of the bed, but hey at least it works for her.

Addie is such a silly girl! I can't believe how much fun she is and all the things she does to make me laugh!
